I need to schedule 10 appoitments a week, what is the best way about going about this?

I hate when managers tell people they need to have 10 appointments per week.   That is so arbitrary, it all depends on how well you qualify a prospect, close business, and the average profit per client depending on business you provide.  Would you rather make 100k with 1000 clients or 100k with 1 client?

.... but to answer your question as long as you keep consistent call volume the appoinments will come.

You need to pick up the phone and start dialing. Search these forums on how best to get that done. And, pencil in about 70 hours a week for getting it all done.

Good luck!!!

If you think you are going to get 10 appts a week - quit now and save yourself the pain of being delusional.

HAHA.  12 and up is considered a full schedule around here.  Ask me how that's going.

How is that going?

not bad actually- except for the fact that there isn't enough time in the day.  or enough rooms in the office when there are 8 other reps fighting for the same rooms.

If you work inside the Bank then I get it,  and that is not a lot to ask.

ohhh.  it doesn't take much to sit down with someone, especially referrals.  getting double digit set appointments is tough but doable.  maybe your just bad at what you do, you sound like a loser on the phone, or you just aren't trying hard enough.  really, how hard is it to find 10 people to talk to about their money?  anyway, stay positive otane and keep plugging-or jump off a cliff.  at this point just do whatever you want.  anything besides pick up the phone, right?

Look newbie.....you are an idiot.

Your 10 appts must be selling bubble gum, or your shop is selling porn. It ain't qualified prospects with money to go. But, whatever...we need another loser in the industry.

Depending on what you are selling you can make 10 appointments a week . in some businesses you can make only 5 in others more than 10. Be more specific!

What in the hell do you think he is selling?  Encyclopedia's?!  Ginzu steak knives?!  Geez.  This is a forum for people selling financial services.  Common sense would tell you that his question is centered around that.

Okay Otane.  These accounts are not huge, and I literally sit down with everyone.  EVERYONE.  From people with real money to move to losers who are worried about debt settlement.   If I set up an introduction over a cup of coffee, that's a first appointment.  I'm not picky about what size accounts or what type of business I can do.  If there is biz there I'll take it, if not, I get referrals and move on.  The reason why I need to set so many is because a portion of the appointments don't keep, and keeping a good schedule is the easiest way to make money every week.   A lot of the times it's difficult.   As far as being an idiot and a liar?  - Veteran or top-producer- I really don't care, I still think you should jump off that cliff.
