I am looking to expand my practice.  I own a mid size CPA firm (10 employees).  $25mm AUM, 95% fee based busienss.  I would like to hire/recruit reps who have an existing book of business.  I can pay out a larger percentage than most other firms, so the money stuff should be easy.  Loking for suggestions on where to look for reps looking to make a move up.  Located in western KY.

Hello Investment_CPA,

Braveheart is correct; "many independents looking to bring in experienced producers." I know of one boutique recruiting firm whose business model is based on recruiting for small practices (like yours).'

You should expect to include referrals and introductions to local centers of influence as part of your recruiting value proposition.

I, too am having trouble finding the right RIA for my Real Estate Investment Firm... So matter who I call and where I look... I can't seem to find anyone with a book of business who can raise capital for us.

We are an SEC RIA - Pioneer Advisors - Scottsdale AZ. We are beginning to seek new reps that are eager to build with us. We are focused on product creation - and asset management services. We recently launched a new product branch - working with diverseFolios - also focused on products for advisors to attract capital and clients. We believe our 150+ years of Wall Street experience would be attracting advisors or reps looking to sell our name. We will soon see.

All the best to all. Feel free to contact us.
