Advyzon Investment Management, a turnkey asset management program under the Advyzon platform, has named Scott Smith its chief revenue officer.
Smith began his over 20-year financial services career as a relationship manager and vice president of sales at TD Ameritrade Institutional, where he served for two years. He then spent four years each as vice president of sales at Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services and relationship manager at Schwab Advisor Services. He was vice president of business development at BNY Mellon | Pershing for over three years and vice president and regional director at Envestnet for three years.
Most recently, Smith served as head of central division RIA custody sales at Goldman Sachs for the past three years.
Advyzon launched Advyzon Investment Management in March 2022.
In February, Advyzon Investment Management announced a partnership in which they began serving as the TAMP for Nebo Wealth.
Ken Denman Joins TIFIN's Board of Directors
AI platform TIFIN has appointed Ken Denman to its board of directors.
Denman is a general partner at venture capital firm Sway Ventures and serves on the boards of Costco Wholesale and Motorola Solutions. He was president and CEO of Emotient, which Apple acquired in 2016. Before that, he was also CEO at Openwave Systems and iPass Inc.
The TIFIN board currently includes TIFIN CEO and founder Dr. Vinay Nair; Rob Heyvaert, founder and managing partner of Motive Partners (who joined the board in May 2022 as part of TIFIN’s $109 million Series D funding round); Tom Tinsley, former managing director of General Atlantic and former CEO of Baan Software N.V.; Cathie Wood, CEO and CIO of ARK Invest (who joined the board in July 2021); Glenn Hubbard, director of the Chazen Institute, and dean emeritus and professor of finance and economics at Columbia Business School (and President George W. Bush’s chief economist); and Anil Arora, senior partner at TIFIN and former CEO of Envestnet | Yodlee.
Vestwell Expands Its Partnership With J.P. Morgan Asset Management's Everyday 401(k)
Vestwell this week announced an expanded distribution of J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s Everyday 401(k), its workplace savings platform for small businesses. Among some newly introduced capabilities is the ability for financial advisors to serve as a 3(38) investment manager on the workplace retirement plan.
The partnership was originally announced in May 2023. In December, the record-keeper-as-a-service, and employer and individual savings platform provider announced its Series D funding round, which brought in $125 million.
Founded in 2016, Vestwell has now also become the program administrator or record keeper for 80% of the live auto-IRA programs in the United States.
