The expense ratios of the lifecycle funds cited in “Spinning Their Wheels” (October 2006) represented gross expense ratios and not the net expense ratios that are normally used when examining fund fees. Two of the fund names were also cited incorrectly. Here's a list of the correct net expense ratios for those funds based on Morningstar data: State Farm's Life Path 2030 B Legacy fund charges a 1.70 percent fee, Russell Life Point 2040 carries a 1.09 percent fee, Putnam's Retirement Ready 2050 charges 1.22 percent of assets and the Vantage Point Milestone 2040 fund has a 0.97 percent expense ratio. We regret the error.
