UBS Wealth Management USA is co-launching a new fellowship that will help businesses owned by women of color with resources to help them weather the storm of the COVID-19 pandemic and its economic impact.
UBS is partnering with Luminary, a collaboration hub for women based out of New York City, to launch the UBS x Luminary Fellowship Program. With support from UBS, Luminary will offer 55 fellowships in total.
“Women of color business owners have been adversely impacted by the pandemic and are in need of support to help ensure their businesses can survive and thrive,” said Carey Shuffman, head of the Women’s Strategic Client Segment at UBS Wealth Management USA. “We are excited to work with Luminary to provide fellowship recipients with meaningful thought leadership, resources and content, community and connectivity, as they look to revitalize, build and grow their businesses for the future.”
In addition to access to workshops, coaching and mentoring opportunities at Luminary, fellowship winners will get support for the UBS Business Owner’s and Strategic Women’s Client Segments, as well as resources in the UBS Business Owner Resilience Center and the company’s Own Your Worth platform.
The application process is open now through Oct. 30. The selected candidates will be announced on Nov. 6, and the fellowships will continue through the end of 2021.
