Third-party broker/dealer and marketing firm Infinex Financial Group announced a partnership with digital advice provider Jemstep on Wednesday.
With the partnership, Jemstep Advisor Pro will be made available to Infinex’s client firms through the latter’s b/d platform, which works with 220 community-based banks and credit unions. Infinex Financial Group has over $30 billion in assets under administration on its platform and over 650 advisors using it to provide wealth management services.
The Jemstep offering uses a goals-based methodology that advisors can utilize with investors to help them set goals, create and access portfolios, and open and fund accounts (assets are custodied on Pershing’s platform).
Fund manager Invesco acquired Jemstep in early 2016, and in 2015 the Jemstep Advisor Pro platform won a WealthManagement.com Industry Award for best Advisor-Support Robo.
