You can hope, but I wouldn’t make plans based on that wish.  Maybe your b/d will move that way, but more likely it will be up to you to decide which is more important to you: avoiding a firm change and not being able to move to a business model you prefer, or changing firms so you can operate the way you prefer.  One or t’other.
