I know a few people that have the treo and they seem to like the Windows version better than the PDA version.. I have NO idea if that provides insight.. But heck, thought I would share it anyways.. Miss JMJ, ACT is not a phone, it’s a CMS, sort of like JCMS, but an off-the-shelf product that can be customized.
I have the Windows version and I love it. The reason I bought that one was that if you work for Edward Jones the Windows version is the only one that gives you remote access to your calander.
Does anyone know anything about the new iPhone 3G and if it would be useful in this busienss? It seems nice and it has tons of programs and applications.
Thanks Shirlock. I didn't ask if anyone has it, I asked if anyone knows. There is TONS of info out there about the apps and features of the 3G, so I wondered if anyone had read anything related to apps that would be helpful to FA's.[quote=Hey Einstein…the phone was only announced on MONDAY and you can’t even buy it yet…
On to your next case now.
Do you want to be able to look at your list of contact wherever you are? Do you want to be able to access the internet as fast on your phone as you do in your office? Do you think it might be helpful to have your CMS and calendar with you all the time? Got an iPod that you carry with you along with your phone? Does your firm offer you email direct to your phone? If any of those features sound helpful to you, then I’d bet the 3g will be right up your alley.
