by the time your selling, the market scope in your region will be completely different.

What would you classify as a decent bank? BAC? Wachovia? USB?
Damn that’s cold… but funny!

If half the doors you knock have nobody home, and half the ones that ARE home don't want to talk to you,
that would be sweet if half the people were home during the day, but in working class neighborhoods it seems its usually 1/7 or sometimes 1/10 houses that people answer, but depends the area and the neighborhood. condos and places where the retirees are what u wanna find. Most people are at their 9-5's thats why saturdays are so important, you'll feel like you hit the jackpot with the amount of people that are home
I actually enjoyed it. It was fun. I was going to go into a different town and do it, but I decided against it and just stuck here locally, and I must say I really liked getting to talk to the locals and hear there stories.
The only thing that stinks is right now the only office I am going to be able to get is in Louisville, and I really don’t want to be in a metro area. I guess I can still go in hoping that an office will open up on my side of the river. I don’t know what the chances of that are, though.
At what point in the process, if you are going into a new office, does it become a definite, that that will be your office? Is that six months, a year, or what?
Where do YOU want to put your office? Jones will try to put you in a metro market because that’s their in their best interest, but does it help you? Figure out where you want to be, doorknock there during branch training, and stay there. Get your RL on your side. In a perfect world, another FA close to your market will either legacy or GK you, or at least let you use his office for appointments.
