This thread is funny.  I am confused about why you guys keep talking about stupid fish and why you keep spelling using shift-4.

millionairemind, are you LA Broker?

I hope not. Because it seems like LA has more sense than you.

Really, I forgot I'm a dunba$$ so you will have to explain it slowly. The funny thing is not one of you has backed anything up with fact.
The funny thing is, you make 2 accusations in this post, and they are both wrong!

1.  The FACT is that NET / GROSS = actual payout.

2.  You were PROVED to be a DUMBA$$, by a)  spelling "dumbass" incorrectly, and b)  not being smart enough how to calculate payout WHILE YOU WERE MAKING FUN OF SOMEONE ELSE FOR TALKING ABOUT PAYOUT.

Not sure why you think I'm @ EDJ, nor do I know why you think I knock on doors (although, I see no problem with it), and I have no clue why you'd think I use American Funds...

That being said...if you'd like to chat and/or debate finance right now, on this thread, I'll be MORE than happy to humiliate you.
1) I do know how to figure it out typeo but I made a mistake so ill man up and take your crap on it   2) I was not makeing fun of anyone. My point was only the numbers are as corp makes them out to be ( as this was a better deal then 40%)   As to your EDJ it seems you enjoy giving everyone crap on almost every thread so I just haven a little fun sending some your was. Its was just a joke lighten up. I dont see anything wrong with the Jones model not for me - works for them
Positives about WFA…Let me think…

Seriously I am obviously a legacy AGE guy so most of the change has been negative from my perspective, but there are some positives 1.  Some nice technology except contact management (broker vision where are you??) 2.  Lower acct fees/nuisance fees to the clients than the other major firms 3.  True open architecture--there has been zero product pressure 4.  Very good fee based options(they should refund those 12b1 fees to the client; however, or pay us on them.) 5.  Their bond inventory and selection is an upgrade from AGE. 6.  Good marketing support--designing ads, etc.  With a dedicated marketing support person.   My negative list would be longer, but I think for the most part WFA is the best of the big 4 from all of my comparisons. (Have been recruited by all the other 3 and turned them down)
Great points. My negatives are only based on comp and they want to tie the client to the firm not the advisor. Not sure if I blame, I guess most would if they could. Just not sure if this is the place to build a business.
