Count Brockula checking in here.  I have decided to apply at different banks, outside B2B sales, and other insurance and financial sales positions to get the needed background to break into this business.  Like big pharma the catch 22 of needing experience in the business to even break into the business is frustrating.

Brock

I know that you must be dissapointed by the rejection but it is the best thing that could happen to you. For one thing, if you are starting from scratch it will be years before you ever make any money for yourself at Jones. They will keep telling you how much cash you will making along with the trips and partnership and you like thousands of others will smell the coffee when you witness an office with assets given to some idiot who's related to a GP or is the RL's alter boy, meanwhile they will keep pouunding on you to get your assets up. Then to top it all off they will send that prima donna over to your offfice to help train and analize your book and what needs to be done to rectify it. Jones has a good training program but it is by far the last place you want to be employed in the finacial industry. Good luck Brock, I'm sure you will find employment somewhere.

Big phrama hires kids with no experience.  I know because I have known a lot of them over the years.

Go apply, like chicken soup "It can't hurt."

Indians/Pakistanis are very aggressive and very smart.

That Indian guy will probably make a ton of money.
