…so guess what? no calculator needed, cuz the cheese was able to dust off those long unused math skills and ace the friggin test…no big deal scoff some, but this stinky cheese crumble is right pleased and off to down a few celebratory beverages…now on the the next step next week!
For future reference just remember whenever you see the formula Pi R squared, that’s it’s wrong. Everybody knows cake are square, and Pi are round.
Hope this helps!
Slow day at the bond desk? Congrats, van...the journey of a thousand miles begins with but a single step. Now it's time to go in and show the BOM your sales skills.
make sure you do these things: 1) Write a Business Plan He's going to ask you to do it anyway. Write it first and you look like a perfect candidate. It will go like this: Boss: "So for your next interview, i want you to write a b plan and show me how you are going to gather assets." You: " If you have the time now i would like to go over the plan i already prepared." Boss: "you already have one?!" You: " of course. i would never go into a new business venture without a plan." 2) Don't say you're moving (even if you are) in the next 5 years. 3) Highlight your Sales Skills Focus on: Cold Calling and the 5 step sales process (greet, qualify, benefits, overcome objections, close) You will then be called in for an interview with your manger and trainer. Repeat the process Last you will have an interview with the BOM for the job. Ask for 70k. This is the highest salary without going in to the hardest benchmarks. He probably will give you 60k, but it doesn't hurt to try.…thanks for the great ideas, i have started working on a business plan focusing on small to medium size business owners…information is readily available and I hope to springboard on my current B2B sales skills…i may have already cut part of the interview process out…i interviewed a month or so ago with a complex manager at another wirehouse that is in a hiring freeze…really a great guy, he offerred to network me with his former co-worker who is a complex manager at another house…we interviewed for about 45 minutes and then set the test up…i am only telling this because I am not sure of the next step, but you have given me a great idea to move forward on finishing the business plan and having it ready…i am oscillating between being sick with excitment and sick with nervousness…this is going to be one hell of a ride…i may need to bounce the old business plan off some of you guys, as long as we arent competing and get some feedback…that is what this forum is for, right? thanks again for all the advice, hope to be able to return it one day…
…bull, you were dead on…i got the call back to meet with two coaches, one of whom wants to ‘discuss’ my business plan…i was told they werent expecting a full blown plan, but at least the ability to articulate it…but thanks to your advice, i should have a pretty detailed and thourough (?) plan down on paper…it may not be exactly what they are looking for, but at least it shows i have done my homework, put in the research, and thought out a plan…meeting thursday morning, will let y’all know how it goes…any ideas for some more hard hitting questions? i am an ugly son of a bitch so i need something to impress them with…
