I am currently in final stages with both Edward Jones and Raymond James (AMP) program. Both firms seem to be very similar and reputable and I have heard good things about both training programs and firms. The one thing I have heard is with Raymond James you own your book so if you were to ever leave you take it with you and with Edward Jones it is much more difficult. I want to choose a firm that I plan on being with for a long time unless there is a really good reason to leave. I have had such a good expierience with EJ and the people I have met there, but want to make the best long term business decision not an emotinal one.


I wanted to know what others have heard/expierienced with both of these firms (pros/cons). Right now they are about 50/50 for me.
