Does this sound right? As a life insurance rep, they charge $50 e&o(understandable) but in order to be a securities rep, the monthly fee jumps to $400. Granted we get an office/assistant/computer/phone etc etc. But $400 sounds a bit steep cause I work from home. Is this what indys typically charge their reps?

I don't pay anything monthly, (after the annual affiliation and E&O is removed from a commission check) so it varies bigtime. Sounds like you get quite a bit for $400.

That is cheap.

ING Financial Partners charges 140 for TECH and 215 for E&O.  How is that $400?

215 for E/O? It should only cost $1200 a year.

Give me a list of 5 name brand INDY firms that only charge $1200 per year.

Most firms mark up e&o. Woodbury charges $950 per year e&o
