Scrubbing Business List

Downloaded a list of businesses from reference USA to call...does anyone know of a free resource to scrub this list?
Actually, does the DNC list apply to businesses or only residences?
I use it for businesses. I tried the individual list with the DNC list and it was a waste of time. I would find maybe 2-5 numbers out of 100 that were not on it, with maybe 1 of those being someone I would call.
"The national Do-Not-Call list protects home voice or personal wireless phone numbers only. While you may be able to register a business number, your registration will not make telephone solicitations to that number unlawful."

I have my business numbers on the national DNC list, along with the fax machine. What a difference! We were getting at least 5 solicitations per day otherwise.
As a business owner, Indy Rep, I'd suggest that you put some deep intelligent thought into your calls, message, so you don't come off as repulsive as the other goons calling. Granted, there is too cute by half too....
Be brief, offer something of value, personalized, honest/ethical, and methodical.
been dialing since 8am.
50 minute call blocks 10 minute breaks.
I'm calling business leads as well. At ML we have dual screeners. We use gryphon and ML (you cannot solicit if the prospect already has a ML account).
Oh and happy new years to everybody on this board.

Can you send me those??
thanks for the link for the business DNC. I'd also like the list of ML numbers you can't call :)
