Here we go again… what is everyone calling on this morning?
I call mainly SBO’s, and many aren’t in office on Saturdays. I have found, the ones you get, you can reach w/o a gatekeeper, which is good. Other ones, retail businesses, I tend to avoid b/c they seem to get pissed at receiving calls on Saturdays when they’re typically busiest.
SCRIPT:
YOU; "I see you're in your office hard at work." THEM: "Ya, it's the only day of the week nobody calls me on the phone to bother me or sell me crap"10:00am - 12:00 noon in the winter months where its cold…assuming no kids in sports.
I’ve gotten a few then, but by that time, it’s better to just prepare the requested information and start packing it in. I have done 300+ dial Saturdays and gotten less than ten people. Plan the next week and go home and enjoy Saturday night and Sunday. Monday’s coming quickly.
Saturday is for appointments for clients that cannot come in on weekdays. Today I have 2 for about 100K in rollovers. I don't like to call out on Saturdays unless it is someone I know will talk to me.Here we go again… what is everyone calling on this morning?
When I was doorknocking, I found Saturdays a good time to catch folks working in the yard. It was a good time to catch people home if you get there before noon. Make sure you are ready to talk about their yards AND retirement plans. People that have yards full of dandelions are usually worthless. The nicest yards are the nicest people with the most money. What time is good to call on saturdays, to residential…?
Of course when it is 58 and raining… not many people in their yards, but plenty inside who you can’t catch during the week… perfect time to call…
