Niche prospecting?

Have a niche prospecting idea you care to share? I do door knocking and cold calls to business owners asking if I can stop by… These two have brought 90% of my business. Getting burned out though… Business is good but looking for something to help break up the day once in a while. Do coffee club once a week (good close ratio, but small acounts so far). Volunteer at old folks home once in a while (got a few accounts but it feels wrong).
Ideas?I wonder if there is any way to get lists of people recently enrolled in unemployment… Could approach them with info on 401K rollovers… Might be more applicable for someone new/new like myself…
Look for professional/technical networking groups in your area. There are groups for unemployed professionals that meet weekly to share job leads and networking ideas. Meetings are at night for the most part so they don’t interfere with daytime activities
Don’t just show up! Get hold of the leader of the networking group, explain who you are and what you offer and ask for a chance to speak to the group for 15 minutes. Pretty fertile ground for rollovers, referrals, and yes, recruits (if your job includes recruiting or even just referring good candidates).
Are you saying that you do Niche prospecting or that you want to start doing niche prospecting?
Because if you think you are doing it, you clearly don’t understand the concept. You’re involved with business owners (of all kinds, presumably), old folks homes, and coffee clubs - sounds like you’re just trying to get whatever business you can and clearly don’t have a niche.

Probably not the people you want… They will burn through that 401K once unemployment runs out or maybe even with unemployment
Good observation Inspector Gadget. Looking for ideas....Are you saying that you do Niche prospecting or that you want to start doing niche prospecting?
