I was wondering how many of y’all out there use LinkedIn for networking and marketing? And if so, do you get a decent response rate?
Out of 3,000 some odd contacts on LinkedIn, I got one good new client, who gave me one referral, so two accounts total worth about 450K together.
Actually, I’ve gotten a few clients out of it. But it was mainly from sending a podcast to all of my contacts. I got a response from one, who referred me to someone, who put me on their radio show, which got me some clients. I think it’s all in how you use it. There is a guy who gives webinars online on how to use LinkedIN to grow your financial advisory practice. They are free and maybe worth a look. I haven’t implemented his ideas yet, but maybe at some point. PM and I’ll send you his linkedin email.
