Bears and Jay Cutler

Chicago Bears fans are shocked that the team would be aggressive and make a move like this. He is already the best QB the franchise has ever had and he hasn’t played a game. Just Awesome !! Thoughts ?
True, but now when Hester is open by 10 yrds, 50 yrds downfield we have someone who can get the ball there.
Not a Bears fan, but I think it is a good move for them. Good young QB getting near his prime. The only problem is that Cutler is a tool, and as chief said, has only Brian Urlacher to throw to now.
I think picking up Orlando Pace is also a good move. I believe he still has some in the tank.
They should trade Urlacher… for a decent reciever… Of course Earl Bennett was great when he was with Cutler at Vandy, maybe they can rekindle that.
Urlacher is just not tradeable. He makes too much and just isn’t very good anymore. They definitely have to find a WR or 2 but those are easier to find than a stud QB who is 25.
I just don't see how Cutler is a tool. He never had a problem with anyone until Bill Belicheck's ball boy, Josh McDaniels, came along and starts being a tough guy. First McDaniels tells Cutler that the offensive staff will be retained ( a week later they were all fired) and then he tries to trade for Cassel after Cutler puts up a monster year. I would be pissed too!

I would be pissed too!
He is a tool because he formally asks for a trade twice after being involved in some trade rumors, then tells reporters he doesn't want to be. To make it worse, he goes from a team that had great options, arguably some of the best young receivers in the league, to a team that would only have a marginally worse receiving core if I were running routes for them. Furthermore, he is a tool because he got in a jaw-jacking match with uber-tool Philip Rivers. All that crap is after McDaniels screwed everything up. Yes he asked for a trade and then said he had wanted to stay in Denver, until Ball Boy showed up. I will agree with you that Phillip Rivers is an uber-tool.
Sometimes, what’s your 40 time. I’d take you if you ran precise routes, had good hands, and would go over the middle, even if you’re a step slow.
"How much you want to bet I could throw a football over those mountains" Uncle RicoUber-Tool Phillip Rivers. I think this is all something we can agree on in this forum for once.
