What are the most common complaints you’re seeing now, and what can reps do to protect themselves? Thanks!
Jim Jones, go drink your koolaid. I was addressing the lawyer but thanks for showing again for exhibiting the serious character flaws I had described.
And another bully bee rears his ugly head...bzzzzzzzzz
buzz off bully bee!

Here’s another concern to add to the list:
How can so called professional registered rep, brokers, CFP'S engage in cyberbullying. Can't a person receiving suicide encouragement or belief that someone wants them dead file an official complaint with the FBI and have this evildoer tracked down? Cyberbullying is against the law--perhaps you might disagree but I don't think the FBI or the media would agree.
[/quote]1. You need proof of who it is in real life.
2. They actually have to make a threat; saying "I want you dead" isn't going to get them arrested.
3. The FBI doesn't have jurisdiction in the majority of the world, hence the majority of the world don't need to be concerned about that.
Amazon, Aloha again.
I like your name because I consider myself an Amazon Woman Warrior. who can fight off many cyberbully bees at once. I assume you must like the Amazon rain forest and maybe that's why you selected that name unless you consider yourself a warrior be it male or female?--you never said. http://rainforests.mongabay.com/amazon/
Anyway, I didn't know you were a lawyer, too -- but my question was directed to the lawyer herein this topic thread.
It does seem that clients would be concerned about the "character" of their brokers ...and as I've read, there are background checks and it seems they should also check the broker's Internet behavior, too.
Thus, seems this can be added to the list of rep concerns, too.
Aloha.
I don’t really see how my gender is relevant, but I’m female if you must know.
Also, I’m no lawyer, just a bit knowledgeable on certain laws. It’s always fun to be able to say: “That is a death threat, which is illegal” to people.
Here's some more evidence for you, Mr. Lawyer: And to think that people actually trust them handling their money! Please take note.
Here's joedabrkr aka Bobby Hall, et all:
Rest my case!
SEC Lady, are you taking note here. Background check should also examine Internet behavior before a professional certification is issued to filth like this. This guy is a dirtbag and has no class. As you see, his joedabrkr is a little more restrained on this site but watch him in action on Flaming Warrior site:

I'm definitely done with this site!!! and that site. Heck, my sister took over my site. This guy is one weird, strange, low-class dude and needs help.
It could be someone posing as joedabrkr on that site (maybe Amazon or Merdoct on that site) with the name of littlejoey--appears that it must be Ferris, though. Glad he has good movements, though. I'd be a little upset with Ferris aka Bobby Hull if I were him. But all of these clowns seem to engage in the SAME behavior. It's very telling.
TGP posts pics of women being degraded and this site is closed so we really don't know the Internet behavior of reps on that site.
I'd strongly suggest if you use other forums that you act more professional to include this one.
Encouraging Suicide
Encouraging Abortion
Bashing/Trashing
Threatening Blackmail and other threats
just ain't professional.
I really don't care about your careers but when you use me as your target practice then I'll call you on it since you say you are "professionals" who hold professional licenses.
I'm sure the attorney on this site and the SEC as well as the administrators are watching you. Oh, there's no official admin yet but there will be. If I'm banned: I don't care -- it was worth it to point out the type of people you seem to be.
You can't always hide on the Internet: not if you are a professionally licensed professional. Do lawyers and doctors hide their identity and act this way (...I sure hope not!)
I'm sure the public reading this forum will have second thoughts about using a financial advisor after witnessing your "internet behavior".
My sister is closing down that site or will turn it over to a friend of hers. I didn't know you knew my sister that well, Ferris and don't know how she did that when she was at home with her husband all night, too.
More professional behavior! Thank you and I'm sure your clients will thank you, too. The officials who give out these licenses thank you, too.
Respect and Decency on the Internet is a good thing.
I could give a flying f&ck what you (or your aliases (of course different ips!) think and the feeling is mutual. I really really dislike you. Oops, I'm not a licensed professional, so that's ok.
Good damage control, tho. (I still think it was you but wanted to render a clarification, just in case. Sure, whatever you say, Dude.)
You do talk alot of "sh*t" don't you.
Suggest that everyone start acting more professional.
byebye now!

Gee...how many times have we heard this...only to see you return and return again like a bad rash.
Bad rash is right.
I'm getting more death threats and hate mail and I seem to be making some nervous...so seeing that I really could give a rat's behind about any of you or this site,
I'll leave. But don't taunt me ... or... nevermind.
Just wanted to encourage everyone to be a little more professional and to stop your cyberbullying. ByeBye now.

Hey schmuck in case you didn't notice the post was over a week old and since then nancy/madison/parachute has left us alone.
So please just leave it be.

I disagree. It can't be said enough.
