Considering a move from a major wirehouse to another major wirehouse…but I retired two years ago and signed a retirement agreement. The partner I left my assets to would move with me. Is there a good way to do this around the agreement? Would it be better for him to move and just pay me? I’m getting different responses from different firms…

Time to lawyer up in my opinion. Know of a similar situation that was settled with some legal wrangling. I’ve some good attorney contacts in CA and AZ, but I’m sure someone in your neck of the woods is well versed and can help you.
