Well I didn't really want to come out and say that your "false choice" question is dumb, so I took a more circuitous route.

Asking a question like yours in a place like this is like going into a bar and saying "I don't care what all these guys say, you wife gives a lousy ..."

It's a barroom brawler's question and it really should be ignored.

Be sure that this is what I'll be doing hence forward.

This is really pitiful - you give new life to the term "premature death". Keep sitting in your fantasy bar and staring in your beer, but don't be surprised if you get asked to leave at closing time  .

If you say so.

Well, good luck to you. I respect your position, and I think I’ve run my course here. So, have a great year, and I wish everyone else here the best!

I read all the repute comment. One growing gaping hole exists. I had a BD for 10 years. They wrote “approved product” on a product we sold that eventually went cease and desist. That’s just one example of brokers like me who got pushed by all brokers to bk due to pending matters. No Customer complaints and no violations. Nothing on crd. But had to settle the commissions law suit after settling and paying. This confinues to leave a competition stigma and the stories only propagate. Any excuse is used to keep a broker out of the industry - even when I generated up to 83k per month comp. watch this-- do you know a BD or RIA that will hire me and stop using the excuse ?
