Michael D. Melrose

Michael D. Melrose is an associate in the Miami office of Baker & McKenzie's Tax Practice Group. He practices mainly in the area of international tax and global wealth management with an emphasis on trust and estate planning. He is the recipient of the University of Florida Levin College of Law Richard B. Stephens Award in 2012 for his outstanding work and overall contribution made to the Class of 2012 and to the Graduate Tax Program.

Mr. Melrose focuses his practice on estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, and US international tax planning for high net worth individuals, families and multijurisdictional companies. He is admitted to the Florida bar and received both his J.D., cum laude, and his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
