Envestnet’s news and performance reporting platform, called Envestnet Connect and part of the firm's "financial wellness" mission, will be demonstrated next month, according to an announcement. WealthManagement.com broke news of the platform following Envestnet’s quarterly earnings call earlier in May.
Executives at Envestnet are still predicting a launch in the second half of 2020, and note that in addition to relevant media and performance reports, investors will be able to view their financial plans from both MoneyGuide and Apprise Labs. Communication nudges, like a “Financial Calendar” and “To Do List” will be included in the application.
“Envestnet Connect will, for the first time, enable advisors to intelligently deliver personalized content that matches the financial interests, life events and lifestyles of their clients,” said Kevin Mulhern, CEO and co-founder of content provision-partner AdvisorStream, in a statement. “Connect raises the client portal bar to heights the industry has not seen before.”
The application will be "mobile friendly" and accessible through mobile devices, according to the announcement and a spokesperson. It is not intended to be a stand-alone mobile app.
