The Financial Services Roundtable, a lobbying group representing brokerage firms, insurance companies and big banks, spent $2.66 million in the first quarter of this year lobbying Congress on Wall Street reform legislation, among other things, as D-day for a final bill neared. That's up from $1.8 million in the fourth quarter of last year, and $2.26 million in the year-ago quarter.
