A Chicago-based father and son duo have launched their own registered investment advisor with over $750 million in assets under management. Mark and Steven Resnik have teamed up to lead Burling Wealth Partners, which focuses on high-net-worth individuals and families.

They’re joined by Young Im, who will serve as managing director and senior portfolio manager. Im previously spent 13 years as a senior investment professional at CI Segall Bryant & Hamill Asset Management. The team also includes Zachary Patzik, a former wealth advisor at RMB Capital, who will serve as managing director and senior wealth advisor, and Abby Davis, a former senior client service manager for CIBC Private Wealth, managing director of client services.

The firm will use Fidelity and Schwab for custody, according to its Form ADV.
