High street assets have become a must-have among retail real estate investors in the past year or two, and U.S. cities certainly have no shortage of well-trafficked strips. However, to make the task of identifying the most attractive opportunities easier, commercial real estate services firm CBRE put together a list of the most expensive retail streets in the world as of first quarter 2015. CBRE researchers note that: “Prime retail rents in the U.S. are likely to increase over the next six months due to strong fundamentals, the lack of space and expansion by retailers into urban areas.” Here are the U.S. locations that made the most expensive list:
