They may not be ready for a market slow down, but many of Wall Street's big-shot firms are ready for, um, a flu pandemic. Late this summer, executives from firms like Morgan Stanley, Citigroup, Charles Schwab and Goldman Sachs met to discuss their strategies for any pandemic dilemmas that may come their way — like Avian Flu. In a report titled, “The Microbiological Threat to Financial Institutions,” company leaders were advised to prepare for what could be “the greatest threat of our lifetime.” Well, so much for those long-term investments
