Merrill Lynch Wealth Management said Thursday that Kirstin Hill has been appointed chief operating officer. The new role is in addition to her current position leading strategic performance for the business, combining that organization with the COO team and operating under a unified COO name.
WealthManagement.com named Hill one of its Ten to Watch in 2020 last year.
Andy Sieg, president of Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, said that expanding Hill's “leadership role across a newly combined strategic performance and operations organization will help us build on our momentum, accelerate growth and further enhance the client experience.”
Mike Adornetto, current Merrill Lynch Wealth Management chief operating officer, is retiring next month after 33 years at the firm. Adornetto has held leadership positions at the firm in wealth management, consumer banking and global banking.
