LPL Financial announced that Andy Kalbaugh, managing director and divisional president of national sales and consulting, will retire at the end of the first quarter 2021 after 13 years with the firm.
Kalbaugh will stay on to help with the transition, and LPL will conduct an external search to find a replacement. He’s currently responsible for the growth, satisfaction and retention of LPL advisors.
He joined LPL in July 2007 as executive vice president of business consulting for independent advisor services, when LPL acquired Mutual Service Corporation.
“The timing is never perfect for retirement, but I’m content knowing the firm is in good hands, and in great shape to grow and prosper moving forward,” Kalbaugh said in a statement.
