After 21 years with Raymond James Financial, Annette Alexander has found a new home at Woodbury Financial Services, an independent broker/dealer with the Advisor Group network of firms that manages over $60 billion in assets under advisement, according to a Wednesday announcement.
Alexander is the principal of Compass Wealth Solutions, a Portland, Ind.–based practice managing $221 million in client assets. Alexander is joined by Tamra Kaufman, wealth advisor; Brandon Mock, portfolio design director; Paula Sibery, executive service director and Dylan Franks, client service associate.
Compass chose Woodbury and Advisor Group to back its succession planning goals and to tap into Advisor Group’s technology stack, digital marketing, cybersecurity and business coaching services, Alexander said.
Alexander started at Raymond James in 1999 and spent the past 20 years building her practice. Kaufman joined the firm in 2019 after 25 years in the banking industry. This past January, the Compass team relocated their office space in Portland to prepare for their move.
"Having run a thriving independent wealth management practice for more than 20 years, I know the importance of having great partners to support us as we strive to serve our clients better and grow our business," Alexander said. "Woodbury Financial and Advisor Group meet and exceed all of our criteria when it comes to providing financial professionals the tools, platforms, services and guidance we need to truly thrive."
Compass is Advisor Group's first recruitment for June. In May, it added Azose Johnson & Associates from Waddell & Reed and Tor and Tyler Saile from LPL Financial.
