Morgan Stanley made several key additions last month. On the advisor front, Barney Greengrass joined the firm's New York City office from Smith Barney; David Napolitano left Wachovia to join the Paramus, N.J., branch; and the team of Elizabeth Cambareri, Jack Cambareri and William Premock brought their Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.-based business from Merrill Lynch to Morgan. Also, Todd Taylor was hired as director of field strategy and programs.
A top producer, Bryan Strachan, left Merrill Lynch to join Smith Barney in its Boston office. His production is reported to be more than $3 million.
On the wholesaling front, Paul Schieber was promoted to director of internal wholesaling at Jersey City, N.J.-based Lord Abbett. Schieber has worked for the company since leaving Merrill Lynch in 1996. He is moving from the West Coast to Jersey.
AIG Retirement Services has named Stuart Rogers senior vice president of corporate and strategic development for the AIG Advisor Group. Rogers has worked for AIG since 2000. He previously held positions at John Nuveen and Chase Manhattan Bank.
