Jered Haag, who shot many of our Advisors with Heart for this month's issue, is a New York native who has been photographing for Registered Rep. since 2007. His work has appeared in publications such as Women's Fitness, Golf Digest, Sporting News, Chief Marketer, and Promo magazines. Photography has been a love since he was a teenager, and he hopes to do more editorial and travel photography in the future. In his spare time he enjoys running, travel, and spending time with his 2-year-old son Tylan. He currently resides upstate in Warwick, N.Y. His work can be seen at jeredhaag.com.

Stan Luxenberg has written about mutual funds and investing since the 1970s. Writing for The New York Times, Forbes, and other publications, he covered the beginning of the great bull market in 1982, the market crash of 1987, and the dot.com bust in 2000. He has written for many websites, including TheStreet.com and CNNMoney.com.

Jennifer Popovec, who wrote the story on healthcare real estate investment trusts in this month's issue (page 83), has been writing about commercial real estate trends for more than a dozen years. She is a regular contributor to REIT magazine and has been published in National Real Estate Investor and Retail Traffic. Popovec is also founder and publisher of Medical Office Today, a media outlet that covers healthcare trends. She holds a master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism and an undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.

Richard Marson recently joined the Registered Rep. team as online editor/producer for RegisteredRep.com. Since moving to New York City in 2003, he's worked on a wide variety of publications both in print and online — most recently as a producer for web projects and online development at Condé Nast. Marson graduated with a B.A. in English from Emory University in Atlanta, Ga. He enjoys live concerts and music production, and has engineered, produced and mixed two full-length albums.
