New York, NY, September 6, 2012 - Dr. Alan Greenspan, Chairman Federal
Reserve System (1987 - 2006) will be a featured speaker at SIFMA's Annual
Meeting, October 23 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City.
Dr. Greenspan will provide his insights on the state of the economy and his
outlook for our capital markets in the lead up to the U.S. Presidential
election. Greenspan joins fellow featured speakers Mary Shapiro (Chairman
SEC), Gary Gensler (Chairman CFTC) to discuss the impact of the political
and economic climate looking ahead to 2013 and beyond. Discussions will
also include a focus on issues of importance to the industry, including the
looming fiscal cliff, European debt crisis, global reforms, and a return to
a client-focused culture.
