PHILADELPHIA and NEW YORK, August 19, 2008 – DM Trust Company, an affiliated business of law firm Duane Morris LLP, is pleased to announce that it has named David Glickman, formerly the managing director of Fidelity Investments in Wilmington, Del., its new president. The trust company has also named Duane Morris partner Michael D. Grohman its new chief executive officer. Grohman, chair of Duane Morris’ Estates and Asset Planning Practice Group, is based in New York.
DM Trust has added John Soroko, Chairman of Duane Morris, to its board of directors, which also includes Duane Morris Chairman Emeritus Sheldon Bonovitz, Duane Morris partners Frank Cooper, Stan Barg and Nora Pomerantz of the firm’s Estates and Asset Planning Practice Group and Frederick Dreher of the firm’s Corporate Practice Group, and the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, Charles O’Donnell.
Glickman and Grohman will manage all aspects of the growing trust company.

David Glickman joins DM Trust Company with more than 20 years of experience in taxation and trust management. During the course of his career, he has successfully managed financial professional teams at banks and accounting firms, handling trust administration, tax reporting and estate planning matters. Most recently, as a managing director at Fidelity Investments, Glickman oversaw all aspects of the start-up trust management operation in Wilmington, including establishing relationships with personal trust and directed trustee clients, developing policies and procedures, managing a team of five professionals engaged in the administration of more than a billion dollars in assets and ensuring the success of trust growth efforts.
Glickman has taught at the American Bankers Association’s National Graduate Trust School Program since 2000. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the American Bankers Association and is a member of the faculty of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association. He has been active in the local community, having served on the boards of the Free Library of Philadelphia and the Civil War and Underground Railroad Museum. He also has served as treasurer and as a board member of the Prince Music Theater in Philadelphia. He plans to continue to expand his activities for these and other organizations.
Glickman earned his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 1986 and graduated with a B.A. in Accounting from Villanova University in 1982.
Michael D. Grohman practices tax, estate planning and estate and trust administration law, with a particular emphasis on estate planning for professional athletes and for owners of closely held businesses. In 2007, Grohman was named in Worth magazine’s annual listing of the top 100 attorneys in the United States for estate planning. He assumed leadership of the Estates and Asset Planning Practice group of Duane Morris in February 2008.
Grohman received his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law in 1993 and his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 1983. He received his B.S. from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
