Just a week after RCS Capital (RCAP), Cetera Financial’s new parent, announced an overhaul of its management team, Cetera has appointed Erinn Ford president of Cetera Advisors, one of the network’s independent broker/dealers.
Last week, RCAP put Larry Roth, former head of AIG’s Advisor Group b/ds, in charge of the firm’s recently acquired broker/dealers encompassing over 9,000 advisors. Since June,RCAP has purchased First Allied Securities, the four Cetera b/ds, Summit Brokerage Services, J.P. Turner & Co. and Investors Capital.
The company also restructured Cetera’s senior leadership team last week, with CEO Valerie Brown stepping down from her role. First Allied CEO Adam Antoniades will take over as president of Cetera.
Brett Harrison, formerly president and CEO of Cetera Advisors, will continue as CEO of the b/d, but he’ll also serve in an executive leadership role at the corporate level, reporting to Roth.
Ford, who will report to Harrison, has served as senior vice president of advisor relations at the firm for the last two years. She focused on improving advisors’ experience through proactive outreach. Prior to joining the firm, she served as chief marketing officer at Pacific West Financial Group.
Cetera Advisors, known as Multi-Financial Securities Corporation prior to the firm’s rebranding in September 2012, serves entrepreneurial advisors.
