Trusts & Estates is pleased to announce that two regular contributors are joining the magazine's adivsory board. Both will serve on the estate planning and taxation committee:

  • David A. Handler, a Chicago-based partner in the firm of Kirkland & Ellis, LLP, writes T&E's monthly “Tax Law Update” for this Briefing section and for the past two years has done the annual “Tax Year in Review” for the January edition. His most recent feature “The Power of Grantor Trusts,” appeared in the March issue. Handler is a fellow with the American College of Trust and Estates Counsel (ACTEC), and a member of the professional advisory committees of the Chicago Community Trust, among other activities.

  • Alexander A. Bove, Jr., of The Law Firm of Bove & Langa, P.C., in Boston, also had a piece in the March issue, “The No-Tax Dynasty Trust,” as well as an article in the November 2005 issue, “Trust Protectors.” Bove, too, is a member of ACTEC as well as the International Academy of Estate and Trust Law. Among his many accomplishments, Bove has written regularly for The Boston Globe and served as editor in chief for the American Bar Association's Asset Protection Strategies.
