NEW YORK CITY – Cushman & Wakefield announced today the launch of “PREP” (Professional Real Estate Program), an innovative, new rotational development program for aspiring commercial real estate professionals. The following six future leaders were selected for the class of 2014: Connor Daugstrup, Samuel Hoffman, Sherzod Ibragimov, Yasmin Kheradpey, Gregory Kuhlman, and Lawrence Margolis.
“We’re very excited to kick-off the first year of this program with six individuals that distinguished themselves both academically in their respective colleges and universities and during the interview process,” said Ron Lo Russo, President, NY Tri-state Region. “This program will be very intensive and expose these future leaders to our global services with the opportunity to work next to the most talented commercial real estate professionals in the industry.”
PREP, which is an initiative spearheaded by Lo Russo, is a 12-month submersion in rotational coursework that includes developmental and client-facing projects, industry workshops and social networking events. The program features a flexible, student-centric curriculum, with intimate class size, peer advisors and structured mentorship in learning all aspects of a world-class commercial real estate services firm. This includes classroom-based lectures in offices throughout the tri-state area in: Research, Valuation & Advisory, Brokerage/Leasing, Corporate Occupier & Investor Services (CIS), and Capital Markets.

Meet the class of 2014:
Connor Daugstrup
Mr. Daugstrup is a graduate of Denison University with a bachelor of arts in Economics. He most recently served as a property management intern for Wells Street Companies in Chicago, IL, where he managed commercial properties with a team of interns, analyzing rent rolls, calculating common area maintenance reconciliations and drafting financial statements. Previously, he served as an assistant building manager at Quadax Inc., in Cleveland, OH.
Samuel Hoffman
Mr. Hoffman is a graduate of The George Washington University with a bachelor of arts in Economics. He most recently served as a investment sales intern at ABS Partners Real Estate in New York, where he supported a team by researching prospective commercial investment opportunities and leads, as well as developing detailed reports to facilitate the execution of multimillion-dollar commercial real estate transactions. Previously, he served as an operations analyst at Columbia Partners, L.L.C Investment Management in Chevy Chase, Md.
Sherzod Ibragimov
Mr. Ibragimov is a graduate of Rutgers University with a bachelor of arts in Economics and a minor in Entrepreneurship. He most recently served as a capital markets spring analyst at Nova Capital Global Markets in New York, where he analyzed the microfinance industry in Nigeria and telecommunications industry in Ghana to obtain data on industry size, growth and market share of competitors. Previously, he served as an investment banking fall analyst at Adiligy LLC, in New York.
Yasmin Kheradpey
Ms. Kheradpey is a graduate of Lehigh University with a bachelor of arts in Real Estate Finance and Human Resources Management. She most recently served as a summer analyst at The Carlton Group in New York, where she created offering and financing memorandums for over $1 billion worth of domestic and European transactions. Previously, she served as an office assistant at The Goodman Center for Real Estate at Lehigh University.
Gregory Kuhlman
Mr. Kuhlman is a graduate of High Point University with a bachelor of science in Business Administration and a minor in Communications. He most recently served as a salesperson at PrimeNYC, where he arranged showing appointments for clients, among other responsibilities. Prior to this position, he served as a summer intern for the company. Mr. Kuhlman has experience assisting in lease signings as well as advertising the company’s new listings. He is a licensed NY State real estate salesperson.
Lawrence Margolis
Mr. Margolis is a graduate of the University of Miami with a bachelor of Business Administration. He graduated with a major in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Finance. Most recently, he served as an intern at Dealertrack Technologies in Lake Success, NY, where he reported to the Vice President of Operation and Technology. Among his responsibilities included identifying, evaluating and resolving network issues in the Dealertrack system. Previously, he served as an intern at UBS in Melville, NY, where he supported and helped plan portfolio allocations for more than 20 clients.
