Buckingham Strategic Wealth, an RIA managing and administering $50 billion in assets, announced it has added Confluence Wealth Management in Portland, Ore., to its platform.
“We foresee that the addition of Confluence will provide us with significant opportunities to expand the number of clients we serve in the Pacific Northwest as we continue strengthening our presence in the region, said Justin Ferri, chief operating officer at Buckingham.
Confluence, a fee-only financial planning and wealth management firm started by advisor Kathleen Kee, manages $782 million in client assets.
Kee said the new “partnership” gives Confluence support in evidence-based investing, access to advanced financial planning through industry thought leaders such as Michael Kitces and Jeffrey Levine, and an opportunity to serve clients nationwide.
“Fiduciary philosophy, fee-only, evidence-based comprehensive wealth planning—Buckingham met all those requirements and more," Kee said. "Our shared philosophies and values give me peace of mind that we found the right, long-term partner for our team and our clients."
