The “number-one requested feature” at Oranj is now available for advisors. The portfolio management software provider added Investment Reporting to its platform, according to an announcement.
While some firms have changed course or doubled down on certain in-demand features during the coronavirus pandemic, the reporting feature just launched by Oranj has been on the company's radar for two years, said David Lyon, founder and CEO of the firm.
“Adding investment reporting to the Oranj platform furthers our mission to help advisors focus on spending their time where they can make the biggest impact for their clients,” he said.
The feature has been available to some advisors already, under a beta program. Employees at RWM Asset Management LLC, in New Bloomfield, Pa., had an early one-week test to try out the new feature, according to Gina Johnson, the firm’s office manager. The firm is making a switch from Albridge to Oranj for its reporting, because of the clean design and avoidance of unnecessary, confusing verbiage, she said.
“The new reporting is just very simple and easy for clients to understand,” she said.
The reports can include a number of different reporting periods and can be organized by households, but are beholden to some datasets available at the custodian level.
