Fiduciary education training and software provider Fi360, which was acquired by Broadridge Financial Solutions last fall, will offer remote proctoring for its Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) and Professional Plan Consultant (PPC) examinations.
The company is partnering with ProctorU, an online proctoring and identity management system, which has administered over 5 million proctor exams through a hybrid process, which combines live observation and artificial intelligence.
"The need for advisor designations and certification exams did not cease when we moved to a virtual world, forcing us to re-examine the proctoring process for clients," said Michael Muirhead, senior director, learning and development at Broadridge's Fi360, in a statement. "Through remote proctoring, clients can now take the certification exams from the safety of their home and meet ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) standards for an independently accredited designation."
The CFP Board and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority recently added remote options for their examinations.
