Caroline Alabach, a veteran Edward Jones advisor based in Seattle, has joined an independent branch of Raymond James. Alabach, who manages more than $265 million in client assets, has been at Edward Jones since 1987, when she joined the firm’s home office in St. Louis.
Alabach will join Mainspring Wealth Advisors, a local independent firm with offices in Bellevue, Burien, Everett and Langley, Wash. She made the move to expand her service offerings and start planning for her eventual succession.
“Mainspring also offers a suite of services and has experts within the organization that will provide additional benefits to my clients that weren’t previously available,” she said in a statement.
Raymond James just announced a record fiscal year for recruiting, bringing in over $300 million in trailing 12-month production, the company said in its fiscal fourth quarter earnings.
The brokerage added a net 467 financial advisors over the last year, and 94 during the fiscal third quarter, bringing total headcount to a record 7,813.
