Dearborn Offers Online Certificate in Financial Planning
CHICAGO-- Recognizing the need for securities and insurance professionals to broaden their skills in order to service clients more effectively, Dearborn Financial Services, a Kaplan Professional Company, is now offering an online Certificate in Financial Planning Program fromKaplan College. The Certificate in Financial Planning Program is comprised of six online courses, each with ten lessons and quizzes and one examination at the end of each course. Courses include: Fundamentals of Personal Financial Planning; Insurance and Employee Benefits; Investment Planning; Income Tax Planning; Planning for Retirement; and Estate Planning. The program satisfies the educational requirement which is one of four requirements necessary to become eligible to apply to take the CFP(TM) certification examination. CFP (TM) certification is granted by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board), Denver, Colorado.
