A Miami-based trio of advisors with about $280 million in assets under management is joining Alex. Brown, a Raymond James division, from UBS, the broker/dealer announced.
The all-women advisory team of Marina Tudela, Idalia Daguin and Gabriela Aguilar will be joining Alex. Brown’s Miami office, which is managed by Eric Termini. The team decided on Alex. Brown for several reasons, including its technology that offered sophisticated options for older and younger clients, which Tudela said was particularly helpful during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are three worldly, bilingual women from Venezuela who want to further lead the way for more women to get involved in the financial services industry,” she said. “We came to Alex. Brown for its cultural reputation. Our values are aligned and we know our clients will feel right at home and valued, as we do.”
The three advisors have a cumulative total of more than 70 years in the industry. Tudela has 28 years of experience, with the last 20 at UBS, while Daguin has worked with UBS and the banking side of Citibank for nearly 24 years. Aguilar has 19 years in the industry, with prior stints at Commerce Bank and Citibank. Since 2011, she’s worked as a vice president at UBS.
Raymond James has $858 billion in total client assets, according to the firm.
