LPL Financial has recruited Elite Financial Network, a large office of supervisory jurisdiction with about $1 billion in assets and 30 advisors, to its platform. Elite joins from Securities America, an Advisor Group broker/dealer.

Huntington Beach, Calif.-based Elite Financial Network was founded in 1992 by President and CEO Dan Cairo. He runs the firm alongside his wife, co-owner and chief financial officer Cindy Cairo, and Managing Partner Craig Wong.

In a statement, Dan Cairo said chose LPL for its ability to help reinvent and grow the large enterprise.

“We have our eyes set on significant growth and expansion over the next few years, and we are confident that this new partnership will give us a competitive advantage to help attract like-minded advisors,” he said. “LPL’s network is expansive and its transition processes are so efficient for advisors who might be interested in joining our team.”
