BNY Mellon Wealth Management announced a number of new hires, including additions from JPMorgan and Citi, to bolster business in the New York tri-state region.
Leighton Cameron, a former senior portfolio manager with TIAA, joins the firm as senior wealth manager. Marcy Morgan, who was previously a managing director at First Republic Bank, has come on as a principal, private banking. Wing Wilson has rejoined as regional fiduciary manager, after a short stint at Citi, where she served as trust officer. She first joined BNY Mellon as a vice president, senior fiduciary specialist, in 2017 before moving to Citi. All three will be based out of New York City.
The firm has also announced the addition of Scott Rickman, a former private client advisor at JPMorgan Chase Bank, who will serve as client strategist out of Greenwich, Conn.
BNY Mellon Wealth Management, a subsidiary of BNY Mellon, has about $305 billion in total client assets as of the end of March, and offices throughout the country to work with individuals and families, family offices and businesses, endowments and foundations. The new hires will report to John Ippolito, BNY Mellon Wealth Management’s regional president for the New York tri-state area, who said the region was an important growth market for the firm’s private bank offerings.
“The addition of exceptional talent like Wing, Leighton, Marcy and Scott supports our efforts to provide a diverse team of experts to ensure clients have access to our comprehensive offerings as their needs continue to evolve, as well as strengthens the delivery of our Active Wealth framework,” he said.
Cameron will specialize in wealth management advice, including portfolio management and strategic planning, for ultra-high-net-worth clients. In addition to TIAA, he has also previously worked as a vice president, portfolio manager at U.S. Trust and a financial analyst for Delta Airlines.
Morgan will also work with high-net-worth and UHNW clients, and has two decades of experience in the industry.
In her new role, Wilson will lead fiduciary business for the region, while managing advisory-based services for clients. She has more than 15 years of experience in the industry, including as a vice president, senior trust officer, at J.P. Morgan.
Rickman will also work with UHNW clients, concentrating on executives, families and nonprofits. He has more than 20 years' experience in the industry, with prior roles in wealth management at Merrill Lynch and UBS.
