Sure seems like there is a lot of sour grapes around here. I’ve yet to get an answer where a better deal is not to include indy. This ends my second calender year and I’ve received over $80,000 in bonus $$ over and above grid. I’m crying all the way to my upper mid 6 figure salary.

Upper middle 6 figure, does that mean 800,000++ Take home?  That would be amazing.
No, I could have phrased that a lot better than I did ... make that  upper mid $100K's. My t12 is just over $340k. My goal is $500k for production year three. I'll be in the 800's within 5 years. beyond that I don't care. My goal at that point would be to keep up the production and work as little as possible.   Not quite amazing but enough to put me first in my class.

Big deal who cares.....I thought you meant above 500k. Oh ya....interesting you mention your class? I had a class when I was 3 years in the biz, but not anymore. Seems you are the one that has never lived through a bull mkt! You are a liar and now everyone knows it. I was just being polite with the "friend" comment, but why do I need to do that on a forum where I can be anonymous? Oh ya.....I have class. good luck with the 800k. That's a good goal. The "Merrill model?" Didn't they go under??????? Great model
Dec 24, 2009 10:23 pm

Your a blowhard f-ing moron. I’ll have great fun rattling your cage. Please post more for us to laugh at!! What would you call the market before the bubble popped eyyy sport?

FYI "Merrill Model" = hire as many as you can knowing they will fail. They are used as prospecting mules so the other brokers split the accounts when they starve out. This is common knowledge how come you never heard of it?

You will be doing 7 figs in 5 years
Thanks for the kind words and yes those numbers are for real. I prospected hard and got VERY lucky. I was able to get the account of a place where a certain group of people, who are commonly known to have money, worship. I now have almost the all of the endowment committees accounts. When folks of this particular religion come down to retire I'm the guy running the endowment with GREAT success. I got incredibly lucky. But I made that luck with over 25,000 cold calls in year one.   I've gotten somewhat complacent cold calling since I get referrals. My new years goal is to send out 1000 letters a week (a letter that has been the most productive in AGE's history according to my manager) and try to get some managed money / annuity business. My manager(s) and I have agreed that I am working my way to run a PIM and eventually FINET.   Only time will tell.   MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!     Chris, No. I started with AGE and I'm still riding that serpent.

Just my opinion but only the worlds biggest AH cold calls on Christmas.

Anyone that has to cold call should not be on this board.  Besides most everyone here has already claimed to be 300k + producers.   Some at 1mm+.  Someting wrong with this picture.

Why is that? I would think its just the opposite not to include business hours,

Yup, this is why I visit these forums.  To see grown men measuring thier schlongs.  Very mature.  Let’s try to get back to being a professional forum and talk about things going on in our industry.

I would think its just the opposite not to include business hours,
If your worried about cold calling, you should be doing it at 11:27am on a saturday morning instead of posting on here.  Everyone knows that you have a higher statistical chance of contacting prospects via cold calling between 9-12 on a saturday morning than any other day of the week, even if it is the day after christmas.  BTW, what class # are you in?  It'll be real easy to verify the authenticity of your year 2 t-12 of 340k.
At AGE you would have recieved the Albert Gallatin award!!! There were 10 given out in 100 years!

My contact is Bill Szalkowski and you've been called out to prove your not a bottom feeding producer.
