Payroll Service

Any of you Indys use a payroll service like adp or paychex? I’m looking to get set up where my taxes, SS, etc. are taken out and I just get an after tax check each week.
I’m a one man shop and went Indy a few months back. I know I can just pay estimated taxes, but I know of so many Indys that are in trouble with the IRS.
Any thoughts or recommendations? Couldn’t find anything via Roogle.
find a local payroll provider to partner with.
another thing, turn it into a networking relationship. have them introduce you to other local businesses that may need 401k help or something.
Most decent sized CPA’s do payroll. Find a person that will do your taxes and your payroll. Makes tax time a bit easier too.

how much do you pay for it?
honestly, why support the people who are fighting for the same clients you are? but yeah....
Chase is supposed to have a pretty good one too. =)

[/quote]I pay zero, b/c I have five employees who are BofA customers.
I don’t fight for the same clients as BofA does. I don’t have the same business model as Merril or BofA.
You might consider having your accountant set you up on Quickbooks. It's not bad once you have it set up.
