Has anyone heard of this advisor training organization? I am considering it and wanted to get feedback from someone who has gone through the program. It’s a hefty price tag, so before I gamble my hard earned money away, I’d like to see what other people think. Thank you in advance to all that respond.

I worked for a guy that started with them over 5 years ago and is still shelling out money to them. They throw out a new carrot and make it sound unique and he buys in again, again and again. (You shouldn’t need a coaching program for any more than a year).

For their price tag, I would find better programs. Their Breaking Through program is just the first book of the CFP program with different titles and videos. They will promise results, but we certainly didn’t see them. My former employer spent alot of time working on a niche. When he didn’t get results after three years, CEG decides it is too broad (after telling him how great it was for the first three years). You are assigned a life coach with a background that CEG has puffed up so much that when they became registered with FINRA, they had to reveal the truth. You will get people coaching you who often have no experience in the world of wealth management.

I know this post is old, but wanted to answer and put it out there. You will find no reviews for CEG which was a red flag for me except for one by John Bowen (one of the owners) on Facebook. I’m sorry, but if you have to post your own review to try to drum up business, something is sketchy.
