Salesgenie vs Salesflower vs WealthEngine: Which is the best lead provider?
Has anyone had any experience with any of the above? If so, will you share your experiences and talk a little about the costs, lead quality and accuracy, how you’ve used the services to prospect and market, and anything else that you think would be relevant to know?
Us noobs would greatly appreciate your wisdom with this
I talked to a rep from WealthEngine; it seemed like it was pretty good info but the price was astronomical. It is $7,500 a year for 5,000 “leads” and every lead thereafter would be $0.28. He said it worked well with direct mail or different types of advertising but it would not work well in a cold-calling campaign. A lot of the reviews I found were more geared toward organizations looking for donations (alumni, non-profit, etc).
A buddy of mine is a realtor and uses Salesgenie, said the info is somewhat accurate but it hasn’t yielded much for him. I reached out to a rep from SmartAsset, it’s super pricey per lead but they claim a 5% close rate and a life-long recurring revenue client would make it worth it? Going to follow up on that as it seemed the most promising. I’m also a new guy in the industry so I will be following to see what others say!

Yeah, those lists from WealthEngine are not leads. They are records of names and other info about a person. Very detailed but it’s just raw information. I spoke with a manager in sales there today. He said other advisors use the information to either pre-screen prospects, or to deepen the relationship with existing clients, or to gather additional info about a person that they’re targeting, and lastly but not as common, they use WealthEngine to help the advisor plan for events. On the last note, the advisor will somehow create a marketing strategy or engagement strategy around those records. The sales manager couldn’t provide more details than that.
i am interested to know what platform you utilize to build a strong prospecting network and converted sales and I could benefit from daily, weekly, and monthly goals to accomplish a status of attaining top tier million dollar covetted top of the mark sales rank status…
I used Salesgenie a lot about 10 years ago when I was at ML; the company changed names a few times, but let’s be honest, you want name-address-phone number in mass quantities. I don’t get paid to say this. I’m just saying it was reasonably priced and worked well for me. at the time I could run it off the computer as well as print out lists so I could lock myself in an empty space with no distractions and just dial.
